  Divorce Mediation Costs

If the two of you want to avoid the costly stressful divorce process, divorce mediation is for you.  The entire process takes about 3 hours.  The process is completely confidential.  A mediator meets with the two of you to determine your main concerns and issues.  The mediator is an experienced Florida Divorce Attorney that knows the law and can tell the two of you possible outcomes if you were to take the case to court.  Through a process of negotiation, the mediator attempts to find a middle ground for all your issues.   No force or coercion is used.  Everything is confidential.  It is a relaxed, positive atmosphere.

If the mediator is successful at finding a solution that everyone can agree on, the mediator writes a document called a Marital Settlement Agreement. Everyone signs the agreement and has 10 days to think about it before it becomes binding.  This agreement can be presented to the court in a divorce proceeding and the terms will be binding.
